I have had a complaint about my watermark on the photos... the reason it is there is to try and prevent theft. I wish we lived in a world where artists wouldn't have to worry about that, but we don't. I appreciate your understanding.

Hello - I just left Coffeyville Kansas and I didn't get out as much as I wanted to photograph the area. There are some beautiful things there. I have an account on SmugMug to show and sell my photography. I don't blame you for watermarking your stuff. I had a tone of photographs stolen off of Facebook before I knew they weren't safe there. I've been a photographer since 2008 - I travel full time now and shoot until I drop!! My site is http://photographybybeverley.smugmug.com/

Hello! Thanks for stopping by..
I haven't been to the Coffeyvill area in ages - maybe I'll get out that way someday :)
I've had some experiences like yours with my photos, now I figure better safe than sorry!
My friend Leann had sent me the link, and I've looked through some of your work... I love it - I will definitely check out more of it :)

I LOVE your watermark! To me it is no different than a painter signing his painting. I bet you won't find any of those that complained to you that would want Picasso not sign a painting for them! ;)

I never looked at it that way :)
I explained to him that any photos I would one day sell wouldn't have the mark, they were just "theft prevention"... but I'm not sure that someone who doesn't put creative things out there would understand :)
